This section includes selected online and software-based systems for connecting to your hosted database tables and exporting information. There are hundreds of reporting tools and whenever I locate one that is useful for connecting to Oracle databases, I install and try out.
- DbForge Studio for Oracle
Great ad-hoc reporting tool. It uses a graphical interface for creating complex SQL queries and the resulting SQL statements can be copy-pasted into Application Express. Data Smart LLC provides training for this inexpensive tool.
Predictive analysis uses models created from the analysis of previous data sets to predict future performance. The most common is a multivariate regression model created from one year’s data to predict the performance of another subsequent group.
